It all began with a felt elephant – originally intended as a pincushion: when Margarete Steiff invented the so-called ‘little elephant’ in 1880, which quickly became a favorite toy, she realized how important good and lovingly designed toys are for children. Her guiding principle, “Only the best is good enough for children,” remains Steiff’s living corporate philosophy more than 135 years later, shaping every product that leaves production.

Now, the world’s most renowned toy and plush toy manufacturer brings the fascination of Steiff to Dorotheen Quartier. In the lovingly designed boutique, you’ll find classic teddy bears, lifelike plush animals, high-quality baby items, the Steiff baby and children’s fashion collection – and, last but not least, the limited Steiff Collectors Editions.
